Though this palace is not as ornate as the palace of Rajasthan, its location is very unique, overlooking the Ratnagiri Bay. A beautiful Buddha idol, brought by King Thibaw, is placed at the back of the palace.Awesome place to visit with a lesson of history. But then the lively greens and the vibrant lilacs prove that life goes on. Thanks once again for sharing a post that deftly dents my ignorance and makes me feel me feel little less blighted, knowledge wise!!!Mimosahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12129350540221923623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1149655716161803415.post-58882354131925840842015-08-26T17:41:24.837+05:302015-08-26T17:41:24.837+05:30Nirdesh Sir,

This is simply what I love about monuments - they interconnect so many different places, different tales, as if they want us to connect the dots between the histories of many different places, peoples and civilizations.
Wonderful post. Hope I do get to visit the place someday. We'll compare notes then!

Regards
SahilPixelated Memorieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05756787609244020282noreply@blogger.com
